We at Coenzyme-A Technologies, Inc. wish to address the concerns raised by the article “Debacle of the Coenzyme-A Product” written by Emma Davis and posted on her website. Her claims might concern a potential consumer, so we would like a chance at a rebuttal.

First, regarding her concern that taking the product might cause the body’s natural production of Coenzyme-A to shut down or otherwise create a dependency: we would like to draw the reader’s attention to the product description posted on our website’s home page. There are links to technical articles there that specifically point to the fact that the formula is designed to address these issues and overcome the cellular down-regulatory processes. The Structural and Biochemical Functions of Coenzyme-A article in particular addresses this matter The fact is that due to all of the contributing environmental factors as listed in the many published papers by creator Nickolaos Skouras, Ph.D., humans have an inherent global deficiency of Coenzyme A. More so due to all of the essential bio-chemical and cellular functions for which it is utilized. Therefore the conclusion can only be that the human body has a built-in affinity for its cellular usage. Using the product is not dependency-forming, but rather life-enhancing.

Our side of the story regarding the handling of Emma Davis’ order:

There are two sides to every story. We certainly regret that Emma had a less than positive experience with us. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and we do everything we can to provide just that. Following are the facts as we see them:

Emma Davis is an A-Plus Marketing customer living in the U.K. She happened to order our product during an 8-week backorder time approximately a year ago. She clearly had other options for procuring the product; she might have ordered from Xynergy Health products there in her own country, as their web site is posted right on the front of our home page and right under A- Pus Marketing Company.

Apparently when the product became available and was shipped out on mid January of 2005, it was held up in customs because anything containing gelatin was at that time closely detained and scrutinized. Customs sent out three notices to which she never responded. Six weeks later, they shipped the package back to our company with additional postage due. We then re-shipped it once again at our expense, only to find that she had moved. She was issued a refund once the product was returned to us for the second time. She was not charged for the additional postage expenses incurred.

In regards to the inappropriate slander of Ty Youngblood, operator of A-Plus Marketing: Ty was a loyal customer of Coenzyme-A Technologies Inc. for two years before setting up the A-Plus Marketing retail distributorship. The testimonial that he wrote regarding his product experience was written prior to A-Plus Marketing’s existence.
